MY INSPIRATION

My love for character design has always been a part of my life from a young age. I easily become immersed in the fantasy worlds of cartoons, anime, and video games; the story rich worlds and characters are fascinating to me. Those tales and characters never ceased to carry me through difficult times growing up, and they were my gateway to meeting many new people and long time friends.
My personal goal since I started illustration and character design has always been to create unique characters that people enjoy and relate to, similar to how I connected with characters back then as a child, and even today. I've  found that people are more immersed in stories and animations when they have these characters they can identify with, and as someone who lives so frequently in the fantasy worlds of anime in her art, I know how special those connections are.
As I continue to delve further into my character design and illustrative passions, I strive to nurture those bonds between the viewer of an animation or the player of a video game and the characters within them. I do hope that as you continue to look through my portfolio that you see this personal mission shine through in each character I create.
When I'm not drawing or coding for my job, I'm giving my two precious pups Inej and Braixen lots of cuddles on the couch or a nice walk out in the lovely weather. I may also be found enjoying some animation nostalgia or completing some of my gaming backlog.
